My book 'Craft' was inspired largely by my great grandfather, Cyril Phipps, who worked as a blacksmith in Bedwas, South Wales. Following retirement, Cyril turned to painting, approaching it with the same impressive work ethic as he had his career. My book examines the fine line between art and craft, in a collection of interviews and explorations of artists and craftspeople at work.
