The Last Days of Hell
The Last Days of Hell follows the story of Grub, a young girl forced away from her cruel family home and into a rich fantastical world, encountering all manner of characters, creatures, challenges and adventures. Her travels take her not only out of her own country, but all the way to Hell, where, as someone yet-living, she has none of the rights of the dead and will have to draw on all of her resilience and wit to survive.
The project is being made in collaboration with writer, Joel Godfrey.
The project began with a four page sample taken from the middle of the story, below are the original pages followed by coloured versions.
